Each Slack message includes: a header with meeting title, date, and duration; a structured AI-generated summary; key decisions extracted from the conversation; action items with owners tagged via Slack @mentions; and a link to the full transcript and recording in the Meetbook dashboard. Meetbook requests only the minimal OAuth scopes: chat:write (to post messages) and channels:read (to list channels for configuration). We never access your DMs, private channels, files, user directory, message history, or admin APIs. Scopes are exactly what the AI notetaker needs to deliver meeting notes — nothing more.

When someone explicitly commits to a task ("I'll follow up with the Acme team"), GPT-4o-mini extracts the commitment, identifies the owner, and the Slack message tags that person with an @mention. Speaker labels are remembered across meetings, so the AI gets more accurate over time.
