How does Meetbook record my meetings?
Meetbook joins your Google Meet or Microsoft Teams call as an AI participant. It records the audio, generates a transcript in real time, and produces an AI summary with key decisions and action items — all automatically, without any manual input from you.
Does Meetbook work with Google Meet and Microsoft Teams?
Yes. Meetbook is fully compatible with Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. You can connect your Google or Microsoft calendar and Meetbook will automatically join scheduled meetings on your behalf.
Is my meeting data private and secure?
Absolutely. All meeting recordings and transcripts are encrypted in transit and at rest. Meetbook follows enterprise-grade security practices and your data is never shared with third parties or used to train AI models.
Can I share meeting notes with my team?
Yes. After every meeting, Meetbook can automatically share the summary and action items to a Slack channel of your choice, or push notes to Notion. You can also share a link to the meeting transcript with anyone on your team.
Do participants know they are being recorded?
Yes. Meetbook joins as a visible participant in the call, so all attendees can see it is present. It is your responsibility to inform participants that the meeting is being recorded, in accordance with local laws and regulations.
What languages does Meetbook support?
Meetbook currently supports English transcription with high accuracy. Support for additional languages including Spanish, French, German, Hindi, and Portuguese is on the roadmap.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Meetbook offers a free plan that lets you record and transcribe a limited number of meetings each month. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time to unlock unlimited recording, longer storage, and advanced integrations.
What makes Meetbook different from other meeting recorders?
Meetbook is built specifically for Google Meet and Microsoft Teams with native calendar integration. We focus on simplicity — you get clean summaries and action items without wading through a full transcript. There are no credit limits on AI summaries, and pricing is straightforward.
