Yes. You can install the Meetbook Chrome extension and start recording on the Free plan, which includes 300 minutes of AI meeting recording per month with transcription, summaries, and action items. Upgrade to Pro or Business for unlimited recordings, analytics, and automatic Slack or Notion sharing.

The extension works with Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. It captures any web-based call running in your browser, transcribes the conversation, and generates an AI summary regardless of which of these platforms you are on.

Yes. Meetbook gives you two capture modes. Bot-free mode records the meeting directly in your browser tab, so no extra participant appears in the call. Alternatively, you can send a Meetbook bot to join on your behalf when you cannot attend — useful for back-to-back or overlapping meetings.

In bot-free mode, recording happens locally in your tab and no bot is visible to others. In bot mode, Meetbook joins as a visible participant everyone can see. Either way, it is your responsibility to inform attendees and obtain consent in line with the laws that apply to your meetings.

The extension transcribes meetings in 99+ languages with automatic speaker labels, so you get an accurate, attributed transcript whether your call is in English, Spanish, German, Hindi, or dozens of other languages.

No, your data is never used to train AI models. All recordings and transcripts are encrypted in transit and at rest, and the extension only accesses the meeting tab you choose to record. You can delete any recording at any time from your Meetbook dashboard.
