Common error messages, explained
Living table — error string → cause → fix.
| You see | What it means | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| "Meetbook couldn't join this meeting" | The invite link was invalid or expired by the time the bot tried to connect | See Bot isn't joining my meeting |
| "Meetbook is waiting to be let in" | The meeting platform put the bot in a waiting room | See Bot stuck in the waiting room |
| "No audio detected in this recording" | The bot joined but captured no sound | See No audio in my recording |
| "Incorrect email or password" | Login credentials don't match, or the account uses SSO with no password | See Facing issues logging in? |
| "Payment failed" / "Access is limited until the payment goes through" | Your card was declined on a recurring charge | See My payment failed |
| "Out of AI credits" | Your plan's monthly AI credit allowance is used up | Check Settings → Usage, or upgrade — see Comparing plans |
My recording is much shorter than the meeting
Not an error message, but the most common "something's wrong" report. Usual causes:
- The bot joined late because the meeting started early relative to the calendar time.
- Someone removed the bot partway through — see The bot got removed from my meeting.
- The meeting ended early for everyone, and the recording genuinely is that short.
