Microphone/screen permissions on mobile
iOS/Android permission prompts, what happens if denied.
Meetbook's mobile app needs microphone access to record anything. Without it granted, tapping Record fails silently or shows a permission error rather than starting.
If you denied the prompt by mistake
iOS: Settings app → Meetbook → enable Microphone.
Android: Settings → Apps → Meetbook → Permissions → enable Microphone.
You don't need to reinstall the app — permission changes take effect immediately, no restart required.
Screen/system-audio capture
If a future recording mode needs system audio or screen capture rather than just the microphone, the OS will prompt for that separately (this is a distinct permission from microphone access on both iOS and Android). Denying it only affects that specific capture mode, not standard microphone recording.
Recording stopped partway through
If a recording that was running suddenly stops, check whether iOS/Android revoked background permission (some OS versions do this after long periods of inactivity or low-power mode) — see Recording from the mobile app for what else affects background reliability.
