Understanding usage limits

What counts against your plan's meeting/minute/seat entitlements.

Your plan sets three independent limits, all visible under Settings → Usage.

Usage panel showing AI credits, Recording today, and Recording this month, each as a percentage-used bar

AI credits

Consumed by report generation, AI Chat (both per-meeting and Second Brain), and running AI Apps. Different actions consume different amounts — a full report costs more than a short chat question.

Recording minutes

Tracked both daily and monthly. Every minute of audio Meetbook records — whether via the bot, the Chrome extension, or the mobile app — counts against this, regardless of which recording method was used.

Seats

How many workspace members you can have — see Inviting teammates.

What happens when you hit a limit

AI credits and recording minutes reset on your plan's regular cycle (shown next to the usage bar, e.g. "Resets Sep 21"). Running out before the reset blocks the specific feature that's over its limit — new AI actions or new recordings — without affecting access to meetings you've already recorded.

Raising your limits

Upgrade to a higher tier — see Comparing plans. Only a workspace Admin can do this; see Roles and permissions if you're not sure who that is in your workspace.
