Number verification, opt-in requirement.
Meetbook can send meeting summaries to WhatsApp, useful for teams that live in WhatsApp for day-to-day communication rather than Slack or email.
Connect and verify your number
Go to Settings → Integrations, connect WhatsApp, and verify the phone number that should receive summaries — verification confirms you actually control that number before any messages are sent to it.
Opt in
WhatsApp delivery requires an explicit opt-in per recipient, in line with WhatsApp's own messaging policies — a teammate can't be added as a summary recipient without their own confirmation.
What gets sent
A condensed version of the report — similar to Slack delivery (see Sending reports to Slack) — with a link back to the full meeting rather than the entire report inline.
Not receiving messages
Confirm the number is still verified and opted in under Settings → Integrations — WhatsApp delivery can silently stop if the recipient's opt-in was revoked on WhatsApp's side.
