Quick start: connect your calendar and get your first recap
Get your first automatic recap in under 10 minutes.
Connect your calendar
Go to Settings → Calendar and connect Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar. Meetbook reads your upcoming meetings from whichever calendar you connect — you can connect both at once.

Set your recording rules
Underneath your connected calendars, choose when Meetbook should auto-join:
- Record When I'm Not the Host — join meetings someone else is running
- Record External Meetings — meetings with people outside your organization
- Record Internal Meetings — meetings with only your teammates
- Only Record Confirmed Meetings — skip meetings you haven't accepted
- Record Recurring Meetings — apply the same rule to every occurrence
All five are independent toggles — turn off whichever doesn't fit how you work.
Turn on auto-record
In Settings → Meeting, make sure Auto-record meetings is on. This is what actually sends the bot — the calendar connection alone only lets Meetbook see your schedule.
Wait for your first recap
A few minutes after your next matching meeting ends, its recording and report appear on Home and under Channels → My Meetings. If the bot didn't join, see Bot isn't joining my meeting.
