Meetbook HelpInstalling the Chrome extension
Record any call in one click, even without a calendar invite.
The Chrome extension lets you start a recording from inside any browser tab — useful for calls that never made it onto your calendar, or platforms your calendar integration doesn't auto-detect.
Install it
- Open the account menu (your avatar, top right of any Meetbook page).
- Click Chrome Extension.
- You'll be taken to the Chrome Web Store listing — click Add to Chrome.
- Pin the extension (puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar → pin Meetbook) so it's always visible.
Using it
Open the extension on any meeting tab (Meet, Zoom web, Teams web) and click Record. It joins as an in-browser capture rather than a visible bot participant — see Recording without sending a bot for the difference.
Permissions it asks for
The extension needs access to the current tab's audio and video to capture the call, and access to meetbook.app to upload the recording and attach it to your account. It does not need access to sites you aren't recording.
