Regenerating a report
When and how to force a re-run.
Reports generate automatically once, right after transcription finishes. You can force a fresh generation from the meeting's Summary tab if the first pass wasn't right.

When to regenerate
- You changed the report format setting and want this meeting to use the new one — see Customizing the report template.
- You renamed speakers after the report was already generated (see A speaker is mislabeled — how to fix it) and want the report text to reflect the corrected names.
- The original report looked clearly wrong or incomplete and a re-run might catch details it missed the first time.
What regenerating changes
A new report replaces the current AI-generated sections (Overview, Action Items, and whatever other sections the template includes — see Customizing the report template). Any action items you manually added or checked off are preserved — regeneration only replaces AI-generated content, not your own edits.
It keeps producing the same result
If regenerating repeatedly gives you the same unsatisfying report, the issue is likely in the source material rather than the generation step — check the transcript itself on the Recording tab. A thin or garbled transcript produces a thin report regardless of how many times it's regenerated.
