Action items and follow-ups
How they're extracted, assigning owners, marking done.
The Action Items section of a report lists concrete follow-ups the AI picked out of the conversation — things someone said they'd do, deadlines mentioned, or decisions that implied a next step.

Adding your own
If the AI missed something, click Add action item on the meeting's Summary tab to add it manually — manually-added items behave identically to AI-extracted ones afterward.
Assigning an owner
Where the conversation makes ownership clear ("I'll send that over" from a specific speaker), the AI attributes the action item to that person. Ambiguous ones are left unassigned — assign them manually if needed.
Marking items done
Check an action item off directly on the meeting page once it's completed. This is meeting-scoped — there's currently no single cross-meeting task view; if you need action items tracked in a dedicated tool, send them to your CRM or task tracker — see CRM sync or Sync meeting action items into Jira.
No action items showed up
Short or informal meetings with no clear decisions or follow-ups sometimes produce an empty Action Items section — this reflects what was actually discussed, not a failure. See My report is missing or incomplete if you expected items that didn't appear.
