Customizing the report template

Sections, tone, org-level defaults.

Every report has an Overview and Action Items, but the sections around them depend on what kind of meeting it was — a sales call gets sections like Budget and Authority alongside Overview, where a standup or interview gets a different mix suited to that context.

Per-meeting template

The dropdown next to Overview (labeled with the detected meeting type, e.g. "Sales discovery") controls which template this specific report uses. Switch it to re-render the report with a different template's section set if the auto-detected one isn't the best fit.

Workspace default

Settings → Meeting → Default report format sets what new reports use by default across the workspace. Leaving it on Let AI pick per meeting lets the template adapt automatically to the kind of meeting it was, rather than forcing every meeting into the same shape.

Per-meeting override

From an individual meeting's Summary tab, change the template dropdown or regenerate with a different format if the default doesn't fit that particular meeting — see Regenerating a report.

Fully custom structures

If none of the built-in templates match a structure your workspace needs repeatedly, an AI App is the flexible path — those can be built around whatever prompt and output shape you need, independent of the standard report templates.
