Deleting your account

What gets deleted immediately vs. after retention window.

Account deletion is handled by support rather than as a self-serve button — this is deliberate, since it's irreversible and affects every meeting tied to your account, not just one at a time. See How to contact support and ask for account deletion.

What gets removed

Every meeting you recorded, their transcripts and reports, your Second Brain index, and your profile information. If you're the sole member of your workspace, the workspace itself is deleted too.

If you're part of a shared workspace

Deleting your personal account doesn't delete meetings recorded by your teammates, and doesn't delete the workspace itself if others remain in it — only your own membership and anything you exclusively own. If you're the workspace Admin, transfer ownership first (see Transferring workspace ownership) or the deletion request will ask you to designate a new admin before it can proceed.

Timing

Your account and its data stop being accessible immediately. Underlying storage is cleared on Meetbook's normal deletion schedule shortly after — see Deleting a meeting and its data for the same distinction applied to a single meeting.
