Deleting a meeting and its data
What "delete" actually removes and how fast.
Open the meeting's detail page and use the ⋯ menu next to the title, then Delete. You'll be asked to confirm — deletion isn't reversible from inside the app.
What gets deleted
- The audio/video recording.
- The transcript and speaker labels.
- The AI report (overview, action items, outline).
- The meeting's entry in AI Chat / Second Brain search — it stops showing up in cross-meeting results.
What doesn't get deleted automatically
- Anything already delivered out before you deleted it — a Slack message, a Notion page, an emailed summary, a CRM record. Meetbook can't reach into a third-party system and retract something it already sent; remove those from the destination app directly.
- Action items you manually copied elsewhere (a task tracker, a doc).
How fast
The meeting disappears from the app immediately. Underlying storage is cleared on Meetbook's normal deletion schedule, typically within a short window afterward — it isn't instantly purged from backups.
Deleting your whole account
See your workspace admin, or contact support — see How to contact support — for full account deletion, which removes every meeting, not just one at a time.
