Creating a Channel

Setup and auto-routing meetings into it.

Create it

From the Channels section in the sidebar, create a new Channel and give it a name that reflects its purpose — e.g. "sales-deals" or "interview-hiring". See What are Channels? if you haven't read the concept overview.

Add members

Add the teammates who should have access to meetings in this Channel — see Adding teammates to a Channel.

Set up auto-routing (optional)

Configure a rule so new meetings land in this Channel automatically — based on the calendar they came from, attendees, or a naming pattern in the meeting title — instead of requiring someone to move each meeting there by hand.

Meetings without an auto-routing rule

Anything that doesn't match a Channel's routing rule stays in your general My Meetings view rather than a specific Channel — you can move it manually afterward if it belongs somewhere specific.

Deleting a Channel

Removing a Channel doesn't delete the meetings inside it — they remain accessible from My Meetings, they just lose that Channel's specific access scoping.
