What is Second Brain?

Second Brain is Meetbook's memory across every meeting you've recorded, not just one. Where the per-meeting Chat panel (see Chatting with a single meeting) only knows about a single transcript, Second Brain can pull from everything in your workspace's history to answer a question.

What gets indexed

Every recorded meeting is indexed automatically as soon as its transcript and report are ready — no manual step required. This includes the transcript content, the report, and speaker information, made searchable semantically (by meaning, not just keyword matching).

What it's for

• "What have we discussed with [client] across all our calls?"
• "Find every meeting where pricing came up."
• "Summarize what changed in our product roadmap over the last quarter of meetings."

Access follows Channels

Second Brain only searches meetings you actually have access to — it respects the same Channels permissions as everywhere else in Meetbook. It doesn't give you a backdoor into meetings you couldn't otherwise open.

Getting the most out of it

Second Brain gets more useful the more meetings you've recorded — a single meeting's worth of history has little to draw cross-meeting patterns from. It's built for teams with an ongoing archive of calls, not a one-off recording.
